Chandigarh, September 30, 2025: The Haryana government has decided to implement the Pre-Audit Scheme of the Local Audit Department in the metropolitan development authorities of Faridabad, Panchkula, Sonipat, and Hisar.
Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, who also holds the charge of Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department, issued orders in this regard. Along with the scheme’s implementation, officials and employees in these metropolitan development bodies have been assigned additional responsibilities under the pre-audit plan with immediate effect.
In Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority, the additional responsibilities have been assigned to Joint Director Rajeev Sharma (Municipal Corporation Faridabad), Senior Audit Officer Amit (YMCA Faridabad), Audit Officer Krishan (Faridabad Circle-1), and Audit Officer Ankush Kumar (HVSU Palwal).
For Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority, the charge has been given to Deputy Director S.S. Dala (Municipal Corporation Ambala), Senior Audit Officer Ravinder (Ambala Circle), Audit Officer Riju Kamboj (Municipal Corporation Panchkula), and Audit Officer Gurdeep (Panchkula Circle-2).
In Sonipat Metropolitan Development Authority, Deputy Director Dr. Pramod Kaushik (Sports University Rai), Senior Audit Officer Meenu (DBRNLU Rai, Sonipat), Audit Officers Vikas Boora and Shiv Kailash (Sports University Sonipat) have been assigned responsibilities.
For Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority, Deputy Director Jai Bhagwan (Municipal Corporation Hisar), Senior Audit Officer Krishan Kumar Sahu (LUAS Hisar), Audit Officer Sunil Kumar-3, and Audit Officer Nakul (CCSHAU Hisar) will oversee the pre-audit duties.
The orders clearly state that no additional remuneration will be paid for the extra workload under this scheme.
