Chandigarh, March 29 – Haryana Health Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to providing better public services under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Speaking at an official meeting in Narnaul, she emphasized that the administration is working transparently and impartially to enhance healthcare and public welfare.
Mahendragarh’s Achievement in TB Eradication
Rao congratulated the health department and district administration for successfully declaring 128 village panchayats in Mahendragarh TB-free. She expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a TB-free India by 2025 would be achieved ahead of schedule.
Health and Infrastructure Priorities
The minister acknowledged significant improvements in Mahendragarh’s sex ratio but stressed the need for continued vigilance to reach the desired target. She also instructed officials to expedite pending approvals related to the under-construction Civil Hospital and Trauma Center in Mahendragarh, ensuring their timely completion.
Agricultural Power Supply to Be Prioritized
Rao directed authorities to prioritize electricity connections for farmers and ensure that work orders for approved agricultural connections are completed without delay, preventing any inconvenience to the farming community.
The meeting was attended by former minister and Narnaul MLA Om Prakash Yadav, Mahendragarh MLA Kanwar Singh Yadav, Superintendent of Police Pooja Vashisht, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Anand Kumar Sharma, and other senior officials.
