Chandigarh, October 8, 2025: Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao held a public hearing at her Chandigarh residence today, where a large number of citizens from across the state gathered to share their grievances and requests. The minister listened to each person attentively and instructed officials from the concerned departments to ensure immediate and effective action.
During the session, people raised issues related to healthcare services, government scheme benefits, electricity and water supply, education, employment, and local development projects. The minister patiently heard all complaints and assured that each issue would be resolved at the earliest.
Rao said the state government’s top priority is to ensure that every citizen benefits from welfare schemes and services without any discrimination. She emphasized that the poor, farmers, laborers, and underprivileged families must receive the benefits of government programs in a transparent and simple manner.
She instructed officials to maintain high standards of quality and transparency in all public-related works and directed them to speed up development projects while ensuring accountability at every level. Rao also issued a stern warning that negligence or delay in public service delivery would not be tolerated.
The health minister noted that such public hearings play a vital role in strengthening communication between the government and citizens, helping to identify and address real issues faced by the people. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continuously meet the expectations of the public through efficient governance and citizen-oriented administration.
