Chandigarh, June 25 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reaffirmed that his government is operating in mission mode with a firm resolve to address citizens’ issues swiftly. He emphasized that officials have been directed to immediately act upon public grievances without delay.

Addressing residents during his visit to village Kishanpura’s community centre and Girdarpur’s gurdwara in Ladwa constituency of Kurukshetra district, CM Saini said, “It is because of the people of Ladwa that I became an MLA and today I serve as Chief Minister. Every citizen of Ladwa is now a member of my family.” He informed that development works worth ₹110 crore are currently underway in the Ladwa Assembly segment.

The Chief Minister announced ₹21 lakh each for development projects in Kishanpura and Girdarpur villages. He assured residents that all demands raised by the village heads will be met, particularly addressing the issue of water drainage in Kishanpura on a priority basis.

Saini also outlined a major healthcare plan, revealing that one modern hospital with all advanced medical facilities will be built in every district, aiming for inauguration by August 15. Each hospital will have a committee responsible for patient referrals to ensure quality treatment for all. Marking the 50th anniversary of the Emergency imposed in 1975, the Chief Minister called June 25 the “Black Day of Indian Democracy.” He said it was a period that witnessed mass atrocities, forced sterilizations, and fear under authoritarian rule. “The youth must be made aware of these dark chapters in our history so such periods are never repeated,” he stressed.
