Haryana Government Invites Applications for Newly Established Department of Future

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): The Haryana government has accelerated its efforts to fully operationalise its newly established Department of Future, an initiative aimed at fostering administrative and technical foresight. To ensure smooth operations within this new directorate, the finance department has sanctioned a total of 35 regular posts across various categories. The government is seeking to fill these positions with experienced personnel and has invited applications on a deputation basis from eligible officers and employees currently working in various state government departments, boards, corporations, and public sector undertakings.

Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made across a diverse range of roles within the directorate. The sanctioned posts include two vacancies for Deputy Directors, and one vacancy each for Private Secretary, Accounts Officer, Superintendent, and Section Officer. Additionally, the department is recruiting three Assistant Private Secretaries, alongside four Assistants, four Junior Scale Stenographers, four Clerks, and four Drivers. The recruitment process also encompasses eight support staff positions, including Peons, Sweepers, and Watchmen, all to be filled through deputation.

According to the official guidelines released by the government, the initial period of deputation will be for one year, which may be extended in accordance with the standard instructions of the state government. This temporary arrangement will remain in effect until regular recruitment is conducted for the directorate or until the deputation period expires, whichever occurs earlier. During this tenure, selected candidates will continue to receive salaries and allowances matching the functional pay scale of their parent departments, and their service conditions will be strictly governed by the Haryana Civil Services rules.

Eligible and interested employees are required to submit their applications through the proper channels via their respective departments. Applicants must attach a summary of their Annual Confidential Reports for the past five years, along with a clear no-objection certificate confirming that they are free from any vigilance or disciplinary cases. To expedite the process, employees may send an advance copy of their application directly to the department’s official email address, though final selection will depend entirely on the physical documents received via post through the proper administrative channels.
