Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh) — Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is actively delivering inclusive progress guided by the vision of shared trust and growth for all sections of society. He affirmed that the provincial administration remains fully dedicated to the modernization, development, and beautification of community centres across the state. Emphasizing the heritage of the Gujjar community, the minister praised its historical legacy of valour, patriotism, and steadfast defence of cultural traditions.
Speaking as the chief guest at a Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebration organized by the Gujjar Dharamshala Management Committee in Kurukshetra, Bedi extended his greetings to the people of the state and announced a grant of Rs 15 lakh for the enhancement of the local Gujjar Dharamshala. Highlighting the philosophical impact of Lord Krishna’s teachings in the Bhagavad Gita, Bedi added that Krishna’s life continues to inspire humanity toward righteousness, duty, and truth.
The event witnessed the presence of notable community figures and leaders, including Gujjar Dharamshala Committee president Rishipal Kasana, Ashok Sirsi, Ashok Gujjar, and Jat Sabha president Krishan Sheokand.
