Chandigarh, October 10, 2025: Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao announced that the state government has approved the opening of a Sub-Health Centre in Barad Khera village, Jind district, to strengthen accessible and affordable healthcare in rural areas.
The minister said the move reflects the government’s commitment to providing quality primary healthcare services close to people’s homes. She stated that qualified medical staff, nurses, and essential medicines will be made available at the centre. The recruitment process will be completed soon, after which the facility will be dedicated to public service.
Aarti Singh Rao added that the new Sub-Health Centre will not only benefit residents of Barad Khera but also people from nearby villages, including Bura Daehr and Bahbalpur, who will now have access to diagnostic and treatment facilities in their vicinity.
She emphasized that the government’s goal is to ensure doorstep access to primary healthcare so that timely treatment can be provided in emergencies, safeguarding the lives of citizens.
