Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini to Attend State-Level Event in Panchkula Marking One Year of Present Government

Chandigarh, October 16 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend a state-level ceremony in Panchkula today to mark the completion of one year of the present state government. The event will be held at the Indradhanush Auditorium, where the Chief Minister will highlight the government’s major achievements, initiatives, and its roadmap for continued public welfare.

Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi reviewed the preparations for the ceremony in a high-level meeting today. Deputy Commissioners from all districts participated via video conferencing. Rastogi directed all Deputy Commissioners to organize district-level programs simultaneously, ensuring that preparations are completed in a timely and coordinated manner. The Panchkula event will be broadcast live across all district-level functions.

During the ceremony, Chief Minister Saini will distribute development grants to panchayats and urban local bodies and hand over land allotment letters to beneficiaries under Phase II of the Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0.

The Chief Secretary emphasized ensuring smooth arrangements, maximum public participation, and effective publicity of the government’s achievements at both state and district levels. Departments were instructed to maintain strong coordination regarding security, public engagement, and ground-level logistics.

Director General of Information, Public Relations, Language, and Culture Department, K. Makarand Pandurang, informed that the Chief Minister will also release a coffee table book showcasing the state government’s one-year achievements.

The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Housing for All Commissioner and Secretary Mohammad Shayin, Information and Public Relations Secretary Dr. Amit Kumar Aggarwal, Additional Principal Secretary to CM Dr. Saket Kumar, Director General of Urban Local Bodies Pankaj, Special Secretary of Personnel, Training, and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Aditya Dahiya, and other senior officers.
