Chandigarh, October 22: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini performed ceremonial worship of Lord Vishwakarma at his residence, ‘Sant Kabir Kutir,’ on the occasion of Vishwakarma Day. The Chief Minister offered flowers to the deity’s portrait and paid his respects. BJP state president Mohanlal Badoli was also present during the ceremony.
CM Saini extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Haryana on Vishwakarma Day and highlighted that Lord Vishwakarma symbolizes creation, hard work, and skill. He said that the deity has shown society the path to progress through craftsmanship, construction, and expertise. On this occasion, the Chief Minister wished artisans and craftsmen a life filled with happiness, peace, and prosperity.
The Chief Minister also praised the ‘Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana’ initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling it a significant step toward empowering traditional craftsmen and artisans. Building on this vision, the Haryana government has implemented several schemes to provide training, financial assistance, and modern tools to artisans, technicians, and self-employed workers in the state.
Additionally, CM Saini extended his greetings and best wishes to all citizens for the upcoming festive occasions of Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj.
