Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Inaugurates, Lays Foundation Stones for Key Development Projects in Fatehabad

Chandigarh, December 13 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of several major projects aimed at strengthening basic amenities, education, and infrastructure in Fatehabad district.

The projects inaugurated include the new bus stand at Tohana, a multi-purpose complex in the Jakhal Mandi municipal area, and a 33 KV power substation at village Myond. The Chief Minister formally launched these initiatives during the Sirsa Lok Sabha MP Sports Festival held in Fatehabad.

Officials said the newly inaugurated Tohana bus stand has been built at a cost of ₹10.42 crore, while the multi-complex in Jakhal Mandi involved an investment of ₹7.05 crore. The 33 KV substation at Myond village was constructed at a cost of ₹5.68 crore, strengthening the local power infrastructure.

In addition, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones for five district-level projects worth ₹5.26 crore. These include the construction of a village perimeter road (phirni) at Musa Khera at a cost of ₹35.25 lakh, and an interlocking road from Kalia Road to Jammu Dhani in Sadhanwas village costing ₹48.01 lakh.

Education-related infrastructure also received a boost. At the Government Senior Secondary School in Chandpura village, projects worth ₹2.16 crore were launched for the construction of 12 new classrooms, an NSQF lab, and a boundary wall. Another project at the Government Senior Secondary School in Karandi village includes six new classrooms, an NSQF lab, and renovation of six existing rooms at a cost of ₹97.68 lakh. At Parta village, a separate project worth ₹1.28 crore will add four classrooms, sheds, interlocking pathways, and a boundary wall at the local government senior secondary school.

The state government said these initiatives are expected to accelerate development in Fatehabad district and improve public facilities across rural and urban areas.
