Chandigarh, March 29 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was honored by the Saini community in Chomu, Rajasthan, during a grand civic felicitation and Holi Milan ceremony. A large crowd gathered to welcome him with garlands and a shower of flowers. As a mark of respect, the community presented him with a traditional turban, shawl, and memento.
Haryana-Rajasthan: A Historic Bond of Brotherhood
CM Saini expressed gratitude, stating that the honor belonged to the people. He assured them that he would uphold the trust and respect given to him. Highlighting the deep-rooted cultural and familial ties between Rajasthan and Haryana, he thanked the community for their love and support. The event was also attended by Rajasthan Cabinet Minister Avinash Gehlot and Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra Gehlot.

Addressing the gathering, Saini emphasized that the event was not just a felicitation but a symbol of unity, brotherhood, and harmony. He urged people to embrace the spirit of Holi, setting aside differences and fostering togetherness.
He described himself as a son and brother to the community, rather than just a chief minister, attributing his success to their blessings and support. He praised the Saini community’s legacy of struggle, sacrifice, and patriotism, recalling their contributions to education, agriculture, and nation-building.
Politics is a Means to Serve Society
Saini highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. He expressed gratitude for being entrusted with the responsibility of serving Haryana and reaffirmed that politics should be about service, not just power.
Inclusive Growth in Haryana
He reiterated that the Haryana government is committed to inclusive development, ensuring progress for all 36 communities. Under his leadership, the state is moving towards threefold growth, and backward classes now have reservations in local bodies, including 5% for sarpanch posts.
The Chief Minister called for collective efforts to strengthen society, urging the community to draw inspiration from struggles and work towards unity and progress.
