Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Highlights Development Achievements in Jagadhari

Chandigarh, February 15, 2025 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” and the principle of “Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek.” Addressing a function in the Jagadhari Assembly constituency of Yamunanagar district, he emphasized that Haryana’s progress is crucial to India’s overall development.

Development Achievements in Jagadhari


Targeting the opposition, CM Saini stated that opposition leaders often demand an account of the BJP government’s performance. He highlighted that in the last 10 years, ₹707 crore had been spent on development projects in Jagadhari, compared to just ₹351 crore during the 10-year Congress rule.
He assured that there would be no shortage of funds for further development and that, in the third term, public welfare initiatives would accelerate threefold.

Major Infrastructure and Development Projects


To enhance connectivity in the region, the Yamunanagar-Panchkula National Highway No. 73 was constructed at a cost of ₹1,112 crore. A new sub-tehsil, Pratap Nagar, was created, and Chhachhrauli was upgraded to a sub-division.
To improve water resources, a new canal from Dadupar to Hamida Head is being built for ₹275 crore. A dia-form wall at Hathinikund Barrage is under construction at a cost of ₹146 crore.
To boost tourism, the Hathinikund Barrage Park has been renovated and beautified at a cost of ₹11.58 crore.
For overall infrastructure development, ₹177.56 crore has been spent on roads, bridges, ROB, RUB, and Mandis. Khijrabad has been renamed Pratap Nagar, and a new bus stand has been built there for ₹1.2 crore.

BJP’s Impact on Politics and Public Welfare


CM Saini asserted that under PM Modi’s leadership, the BJP has transformed Haryana’s political and developmental landscape. He credited Modi’s policies for the party’s success in Delhi Assembly elections, saying that people endorsed BJP’s public welfare agenda.
With civic elections approaching, he expressed confidence that the BJP would secure another victory, further strengthening the party’s vision for a developed Haryana.

Future Roadmap for Haryana


With municipal elections underway, CM Saini assured that once the elections conclude, the government will focus on tripling the pace of development.
The event was attended by key leaders, including Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana, BJP State President Mohan Lal Badoli, MLA Ghanshyam Arora, and former Minister Kanwar Pal.
