Badhra (Charkhi Dadri), July 24: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has unveiled a wide range of developmental projects for the Badhra Assembly constituency, including ₹3 crore for relocating high-tension power lines running over houses, entirely funded by the state government.
Addressing a public meeting in Jhojhukalan village on Thursday, the CM announced that Jhojhukalan will be included in the Mahagram Yojana, and land consolidation work in pending villages will be completed. He also proposed establishing a new grain market in Badhra, subject to land availability, and a vegetable market in Hadohda after a feasibility check.

Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Shruti Choudhry and MP Dharambir Singh were also present. The CM declared that a new animal hospital would be built in Patuwas if land is available. Badhra will receive a full-fledged electricity division with ₹3 crore allotted for a new electricity office. A feasibility study will be conducted to upgrade Badhra Public Health Sub-Division to Division level.
Saini also declared plans to four-lane the Kaliyana-Dadri road and stated that the government committee would review the proposal for giving Jhojhukalan sub-tehsil status. A fire station will be proposed in Badhra, and secondary schools in Maharana and Dhani Phogat will be upgraded to senior secondary level after feasibility checks.
To strengthen road infrastructure, Saini announced over ₹21 crore for the special repair of 100 roads covering 311.20 km that fall within their Defect Liability Period (DLP). Additionally, 12 PWD roads (48.31 km) will be repaired with ₹20.40 crore, five marketing board roads (13.80 km) will undergo special repairs, and three more roads (11.70 km) will be repaired at a cost of ₹1.19 crore.
He also approved ₹5 crore for constructing paved paths in rural areas and another ₹5 crore for general development work in the constituency.

Further announcements included the proposal to open an ITI in Kari-Rupa village after a feasibility check. The CM emphasized women empowerment, highlighting the Lado Lakshmi scheme, which has been allotted ₹5,000 crore in the state budget. He assured that women in the state would soon begin receiving ₹2,100 under the scheme.
MLAs Umed Patuwas and Sunil Sangwan were among several dignitaries present at the event.
