Chandigarh, December 4— Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday inaugurated the Home Department’s new digital dashboard, a major integrated platform designed to transform law enforcement, emergency response, and public safety management across the state.
Calling the system a significant milestone, the Chief Minister said the new platform will allow senior officials to access real-time information from police, fire services, ambulance networks, prisons, and other critical wings through a single interface. He said the dashboard will improve coordination, enhance efficiency, and support faster, data-driven decision-making within the Home Department.
Saini also congratulated the Home Secretary, senior officers, and the technical team for successfully developing and implementing the initiative.
The integrated system brings together key platforms such as the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS), Dial-112 emergency response services, e-Prison, e-Challan, forensic laboratory systems, and other related tools. The Chief Minister also instructed officials to link the dashboard with the e-Summon and e-Challan systems.
He praised the dashboard’s capability to monitor all 20 jails in Haryana in real time, helping authorities assess prisoner transfers, expansion needs, and strategies to reduce overcrowding. Saini said this level of visibility will improve administrative action and ensure timely interventions.
Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department, Dr. Sumita Misra, shared key performance data, noting that between July 1, 2024, and November 30, 2025, a total of 1,78,038 FIRs were registered through the dashboard, out of which 1,32,790 cases have already been resolved — a disposal rate of 74.58 percent. In emergencies, the police currently maintain an average response time of 11 minutes and 54 seconds, with dispatch occurring within 7 minutes and 36 seconds. She added that ambulance services are reaching citizens in an average of 23 minutes and 49 seconds, enabling faster medical assistance and improving outcomes.
Dr. Misra said the dashboard will soon be integrated with the Home Department and judicial administration. Plans are also underway to link the Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) for seamless data flow among police, prosecution, judiciary, prisons, and forensic departments.
She added that the platform will support performance-based ranking of police stations, strengthen accountability, and drive continuous improvement. Powered by real-time data from all 24 police districts and 413 police stations, the dashboard aims to monitor crime trends, improve inter-departmental coordination, and function as a critical decision-support system for enhancing public safety across Haryana.
