Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to Engage Directly with Gen-Z Entrepreneurs in Gurugram

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is set to hold a direct, informal interaction with Gen-Z entrepreneurs at Gurugram University on August 21. The state-level outreach programme is designed to connect aspiring founders with seasoned entrepreneurs to provide hands-on guidance on startup creation, venture financing, and technical scaling without standard administrative protocol.

During a preparatory review meeting in Chandigarh, officials confirmed that the event will feature six dedicated master classrooms, where industry mentors will train cohort groups of 50 youth each on scaling ventures from inception to commercial success. Participants completing the modules will receive official certification and gain practical operational exposure through formal integration with micro, small, and medium enterprises. A specialized Startup Room staffed by 60 successful founders, banking representatives, and experts from the state skill university will also offer direct consultations on credit access and technical infrastructure.

As part of the broader entrepreneurship drive, the Chief Minister will flag off two custom buses under the “Yuva Udyami Yatra” from Gurugram. The mobile outreach initiative will tour colleges, universities, ITIs, and training centres across all 23 districts until December, delivering workshops, setting up banking information counters, and assisting students in turning concepts into viable businesses. The statewide campaign will culminate in a major youth summit in December to review outcomes and support emerging founders. Coverage of the state government’s youth initiative has also been detailed across national platforms including the Times of India and India News Calling.

Emphasizing that the future economy depends on innovation and self-reliance, Saini noted that today’s youth are transitioning from job seekers to job creators, reaffirming that the state administration will provide necessary capital and structural resources to support young innovators.
