Chandigarh, April 22 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has approved a special incentive package worth Rs 37.68 crore for the establishment of Haryana’s first medical liquid oxygen plant in Jhajjar district and a captive solar power plant in Ambala district by Messrs Vayu Products Private Limited.
The approval was granted during the 17th meeting of the Haryana Enterprise Promotion Board (HEPB), which was chaired by CM Saini. The approval followed recommendations from the Executive Empowered Committee (EEC) headed by the Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary. Present at the meeting were Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa, and Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma.
The medical liquid oxygen plant, with an investment of Rs 72.24 crore, and the solar power plant, with an investment of Rs 48.25 crore, will create nearly 100 jobs in the region. This will be the first such facility in Haryana, aimed at boosting the state’s healthcare infrastructure.
Additionally, the board approved an extension for the investment timeline of Messrs ATL Battery Technology (India) Pvt. Ltd., which is setting up a mega lithium-ion cell/battery manufacturing project in IMT Sohna, Nuh district. With an investment of Rs 7,083 crore, the project will generate employment for over 6,700 local people.
Furthermore, the board approved the transfer of a special incentive package of Rs 25.58 crore from Messrs Panasonic India Pvt. Ltd. to Messrs Panasonic Life Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. This package will facilitate a mega refrigerator manufacturing project in Beed-Dadri village, Jhajjar district, with an investment of Rs 114 crore, generating over 150 jobs.
CM Saini emphasized that these new projects will attract significant investments, enhance industrial development, and create ample employment opportunities for local youth, strengthening the state’s economy.
