National Times Bureau :- Panic gripped the Badduwal area near Mullanpur on Saturday after two unidentified assailants opened fire at a luxury car showroom in broad daylight. The attackers arrived on a motorcycle and fired multiple rounds at the showroom before fleeing the spot, leaving staff and bystanders shaken.
No injuries were reported in the incident, but the firing caused fear in the busy area and raised concerns over public safety. Police teams rushed to the spot soon after receiving information and launched an investigation. CCTV footage from the area is being examined to identify the attackers and trace their escape route.
Senior police officials said the motive behind the firing is yet to be ascertained. A case has been registered, and efforts are on to arrest the accused at the earliest.
