Zirakpur, February 22, 2025 – Shri Khatu Shyam Yuva Mitra Mandal Trust (Regd.) Zirakpur is set to organize a majestic Shrimad Bhagwat Katha and Panch-Kundiya Shri Mahalakshmi Yajna from April 6 to April 12, 2025, at Grace Banquet Hall, Kalka-Zirakpur Road. Ahead of this grand event, a special ceremony was held at Grace Banquet Hall to unveil the invitation card and share detailed information about the program. The event was hosted by Satish Bhardwaj, President of Lokhit Seva Samiti, while Ajay Gupta expressed gratitude to the guests.
Prominent Dignitaries Support the Initiative
The chief guest, renowned social worker and industrialist Rajiv Sharma from Mohali, emphasized the importance of religious events in strengthening Sanatan Dharma. He stated, “Just as Lord Krishna in Dwapar Yuga and Lord Ram in Treta Yuga eradicated evildoers, promoting religious gatherings like Shrimad Bhagwat Katha in Kaliyuga will help counter conversion efforts and strengthen Hindu and Sikh communities.”
Mukesh Gandhi, BJP Punjab Executive Member, and Councilor Neha Sharma attended as special guests. They praised the efforts of the Shri Khatu Shyam Yuva Mitra Mandal Trust, acknowledging that after the construction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, devotion to Sanatan Dharma has grown immensely. They noted how the Maha Kumbh witnessed a historic turnout of over 600 million devotees at Prayagraj.
Kalash Yatra and Daily Spiritual Events
Trust President Sunil Bansal and Secretary Nitin Bedi announced that the event would begin with a grand Kalash Yatra on April 6, 2025, from Shiv Mandir, Railway Phatak, Dhakoli, featuring hundreds of women and men. Each day, after the Bhagwat Katha, Shri Shyam Kirtan will be performed, followed by Shri Shyam Rasoi at 8 PM.
Renowned bhajan singer Shri Kanhaiya Mittal will be a special guest at the event. Additionally, many distinguished personalities will grace the occasion. On the final day, April 12, 2025, the third Grand Shri Khatu Shyam Mahotsav will be celebrated, culminating in a massive Shri Shyam Rasoi for all attendees.
