Dera Bassi, February 12 – A grand Kirtan Darbar was organized at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Pahari Gate, Dera Bassi (Ward No. 19) to mark the Prakash Gurpurab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. The event was held under the management of the Gurdwara Committee and saw a large gathering of devotees.
Prominent leader Sardar Dipinder Singh Dhillon, Congress Halqa Incharge, attended the event and extended warm greetings to the Sangat on this auspicious occasion. He highlighted that Guru Ravidas Ji always preached the message of brotherhood, unity, and selfless service. He further added that Guru Ji’s teachings continue to guide humanity even today.
During the Kirtan Darbar, renowned Raagi Jathas enthralled the congregation with devotional hymns praising Guru Ji’s glory. Sant Baba Ji shared spiritual insights into Guru Ravidas Ji’s life, his divine hymns (Bani), and his guiding principles.
Several dignitaries, including Ankit Jain, Kulwant Singh (Ward Incharge), Committee President Harnek Singh, Labh Singh, Ranbir Singh, Parminder Singh, Balbir Singh, Jatinder Singh, and Amrit Singh, were present at the event.
The Sangat also performed Seva (selfless service) by organizing a grand Langar (community meal), ensuring all devotees were served with love and devotion. Devotees attended the event with great enthusiasm and pledged to follow the path of Guru Ravidas Ji.
This spiritual gathering conveyed a strong message of love, harmony, and living a life based on Guru Ji’s divine teachings.
