National Times Bureau :- Punjab experienced clear skies and pleasant weather conditions today after several days of heavy rainfall and flood-like situations in different parts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, no rain-related alerts have been issued for Punjab until September 12.
Officials said that the weather is expected to remain stable across most districts, bringing relief to residents and farmers who were struggling due to continuous rainfall in the past week. The department also stated that there are no chances of any heavy showers or storms during this period, though light and scattered rain cannot be completely ruled out in a few isolated places.
The improvement in weather is expected to help in ongoing relief and rehabilitation work in flood-affected regions, particularly in Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, and surrounding areas where people were displaced due to overflowing rivers and damaged infrastructure.
Authorities have urged the public to remain cautious and follow safety guidelines, but confirmed that normal life is gradually returning to routine as no immediate weather threat looms over Punjab for the next couple of days.
