Farmers Advised to Report Crop Damage via Agricultural Officers or Toll-Free Number: Agriculture Minister

Chandigarh, March 3 – Haryana’s Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Shyam Singh Rana, has urged farmers to report crop damage through the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) and the Haryana Compensation Portal.

Reporting Methods for Farmers

Farmers registered under PMFBY can report crop losses within 72 hours by contacting their nearest agricultural officer or by calling the toll-free number 14447.

Farmers not enrolled in PMFBY must report losses on the Haryana Compensation Portal. However, registration on the ‘Meri Fasal, Mera Byora’ portal is mandatory for access.

Minister Rana has appealed to all affected farmers to report their losses within the given timeframe to ensure timely assistance under government relief schemes.
