Chandigarh, May 11, 2025: Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains announced that all educational institutions across the state including schools, colleges, and universities will reopen from tomorrow. Regular classes and examinations will continue as per the scheduled academic calendar.
In a message posted on social media, the minister emphasized that the situation has stabilized and academic activities will resume without further disruption. He credited the armed forces for restoring normalcy and expressed deep pride in their efforts.
“We are immensely proud of our brave armed forces,” Bains stated, underlining their role in ensuring peace and security in the region. He concluded his message with patriotic expressions: “Jai Hind Ki Sena” and “Vasda Rahe Punjab.”
The announcement comes after a temporary suspension of educational activities, believed to be due to heightened security concerns in the state.
