Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Assures Devotees of Premanand Maharaj’s Stable Health

Vrindavan, October 16, 2025: Spiritual leader Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham, has addressed growing concerns over the health of revered Hindu saint Premanand Maharaj, confirming that the saint’s condition is stable and dismissing circulating rumours as unfounded.

Speaking to the media, Shastri said, “Many rumours were being spread about his health, but he is fine now. I went to give him an invitation for the padayatra. He accepted our invitation and showered us with a lot of love,” offering relief to thousands of anxious followers nationwide.

The clarification comes amid widespread social media speculation suggesting a deterioration in Maharaj Ji’s health, who is known to be battling complete kidney failure. Concerned devotees had expressed prayers and shared their worries online.

Shastri, who recently visited Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan, described the meeting as filled with warmth, blessings, and positivity. He noted that Maharaj Ji graciously accepted the invitation to the upcoming padayatra — a major spiritual procession attracting thousands of devotees. The acceptance is being seen as a hopeful sign of the saint’s continued strength and spiritual vitality.
