Delhi Police Mounts Large-Scale Raids Against Gangsters in NCR and Haryana

New Delhi (Balwinder Singh): The Delhi Police launched a massive operation targeting several infamous criminal syndicates operating in the national capital region and neighboring Haryana.

Officials said nearly 40 teams of the Outer North District Police were deployed to track down members and associates of the Tillu Tajpuria gang, the Neeraj Bawana–Rajesh Bawana gang, the Jitendra alias Gogi gang, and the Kala Jatheri network.

During the raids, investigators seized a substantial quantity of firearms and ammunition along with large sums of cash. Police confirmed that several cases have already been registered based on the evidence recovered from different hideouts.

Senior officers described the crackdown as a “planned strike” aimed at dismantling the financial and operational backbone of these gangs, which have long been involved in extortion, contract killings, and violent turf clashes.

“This is part of a sustained campaign to neutralize organized crime in Delhi-NCR. We are committed to dismantling the networks that threaten public peace and security,” a senior police official said.

The raids follow several high-profile incidents linked to these gangs in recent years, including shootouts in court premises and markets that have raised questions about growing gangster influence in the capital.

Police sources stated that further investigations are ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated in the coming days.
