Delhi Cabinet Portfolios: CM Rekha Gupta Keeps Home and Finance, Parvesh Verma Appointed Deputy CM with Education and Transport

New Delhi (National Times): Just hours after the swearing-in ceremony, the Delhi government announced the allocation of ministerial portfolios.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will oversee the Home Ministry along with the Finance Ministry, solidifying her role in managing key administrative and financial affairs of the capital.

Parvesh Verma, who secured a victory over Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency, has been appointed Deputy Chief Minister and assigned the Education and Transport portfolios, positioning him at the forefront of Delhi’s education reforms and public transport development.

Rekha Gupta (Chief Minister) – Home, Finance, Services, Vigilance, Planning
Parvesh Verma (Deputy CM) – Education, Public Works Department (PWD), Transport
Manjinder Singh Sirsa – Health, Urban Development, Industries
Ravinder Kumar Indraj – Social Welfare, SC/ST Affairs, Labour
Kapil Mishra – Water, Tourism, Culture
Ashish Sood – Revenue, Environment, Food & Civil Supplies
Pankaj Kumar Singh – Law, Legislative Affairs, Housing

With this allocation, the newly formed government has set the stage for tackling Delhi’s key policy challenges, including infrastructure development, social welfare, and environmental management.
