Chandigarh, December 23: The Haryana government will launch a dedicated online portal for ensuring service security of contractual employees under the Haryana Contractual Employees (Service Security) Rules, 2025. The portal, named www.securedemployee.csharyana.gov.in, will be formally inaugurated on December 25 on the occasion of Good Governance Day.
A letter in this regard has been issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi.
According to the letter, the move aims to ensure transparency, accuracy, and uniformity in granting service security benefits to contractual employees. All applications and related processes will now be conducted strictly through the online mode. Physical applications or offline orders will neither be accepted nor considered valid.
Contractual employees will be required to register on the portal and upload all necessary documents by January 31, 2026. Thereafter, the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) will verify service records by February 28, 2026.
The Finance Department will create supernumerary posts for eligible employees by March 31, 2026, while final approvals and issuance of service security-related orders by the respective Heads of Departments will be completed by April 30, 2026.
All Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Managing Directors of Boards and Corporations, Divisional Commissioners, and Deputy Commissioners have been directed to strictly adhere to the prescribed timelines. Accountability will be fixed in case of any delay or non-compliance.
