Gurpreet Singh :- In a shocking incident that has raised concerns over law and order, a 35-year-old man was shot dead in broad daylight on Monday in the outskirts of Amritsar. The victim, identified as Sohna Singh, had reportedly left his home for work as part of his daily routine when he was attacked by unidentified assailants.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred near Rajatal village in the Attari area. Eyewitnesses stated that the attackers opened fire on the victim while he was on his way, leaving him critically injured. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot before any medical assistance could reach.
Police teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving information and cordoned off the area to begin investigations. Forensic teams were also deployed to collect evidence from the crime site.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the motive behind the हत्या, and officials stated that all possible angles are being examined. “We are working to identify the आरोपी and will ensure swift action,” a police अधिकारी said.
