Calgary (Rajeev Sharma) : The New Year was observed with devotion and gratitude at the Dashmesh Culture Centre Calgary Gurdwara Sahib, as the Managing Committee extended warm greetings to the Sangat and prayed for peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth for all in the year ahead.
Welcoming the New Year with the sacred invocation “Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,” the Managing Committee conveyed heartfelt congratulations to the Sangat. Special prayers were offered that the New Year may bring happiness, joy, success, and the blessing of a Gursikhi way of life to every household.

Speaking on the occasion, Ranbir Parmar, Chairman, and Harpal Singh Grewal, President, expressed sincere appreciation for the sevadars and volunteers who served selflessly during the New Year programs. They praised their tireless efforts in managing langar seva, shoe service, and parking arrangements, which ensured smooth and peaceful arrangements for the large number of devotees visiting the Gurdwara Sahib.

Chairman Ranbir Parmar and President Harpal Singh Grewal emphasized that selfless service is the foundation of Sikh teachings. They prayed that Waheguru Ji bless all devotees with chardi kala and the continued opportunity to engage in seva and simran, strengthening both individual faith and community bonds.

A large number of devotees visited the Dashmesh Culture Centre Calgary Gurdwara Sahib to mark the arrival of the New Year, reflecting unity, devotion, and collective commitment to Sikh values. The atmosphere remained peaceful and spiritually uplifting throughout the celebrations.

The New Year observance concluded with ardas, seeking Waheguru Ji’s blessings for the well-being of the Sangat and for peace and harmony in society. The Managing Committee reaffirmed its commitment to serving the community and upholding Sikh principles throughout the year.
