Chandigarh, March 3 – The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Karnal team has arrested Rajesh, a clerk in the Summons Branch of the District Court, Karnal, for allegedly accepting a ₹800 bribe. The arrest took place at Hudda Park, Sector-12, Karnal on March 3, 2025.
Bribery Complaint Leads to Arrest
According to the complainant, Sagar, a clerk working under advocate Pradeep Vohra at Chamber No. 117, District Court, Karnal, the accused demanded ₹800 to process summons in the Pritam Singh vs. Narendra Singh case, pending before the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Karnal.
Acting on the complaint, the ACB team conducted a sting operation and caught Rajesh red-handed while accepting the bribe. A formal case has been registered at the Anti-Corruption Bureau police station in Karnal, with all legal procedures followed transparently, including compliance with Section 105 of the Indian Civil Security Code, 2023.
