Chandigarh, 15 November — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini briefly halted his convoy on Saturday morning after spotting a ‘Run for Unity’ event being held from NIILM University to Kaithal. The Chief Minister was on his way to attend an honour ceremony organised by the Poonia Khap in Khark village of Hisar.
Near Kayodak village, Saini noticed participants running to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He immediately directed his convoy to stop and stepped out to interact with the participants. Former MLA Leela Ram and several workers accompanied him as he inquired about the event route and took updates from volunteers.
The Chief Minister encouraged all runners, praised their spirit, and expressed appreciation for their commitment to unity and national integration.
