Dehradun, September 21, 2025: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the ‘Namo Yuva Run’ at Ghantaghar on Sunday under the ongoing ‘Seva Pakhwada’ program. He also joined the participants for a stretch of the run, encouraging and motivating the youth with his presence.
Dhami said the ‘Namo Yuva Run’ was more than a sports event, describing it as a symbol of energy, health, discipline, and patriotism among young people. He noted that such activities are giving new direction and wider public participation to the ‘Fit India Movement’ launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister urged the youth to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
He further emphasized that under the inspiration of Prime Minister Modi, the spirit of service, dedication, and public welfare is gaining momentum across the country. Through initiatives like ‘Seva Pakhwada,’ every section of society is getting an opportunity to contribute positively. Dhami said such events channelize youth energy into more constructive avenues for the nation’s interest.
The event was attended by Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, MLA Khajan Das, along with event coordinator Vipul Maidoli, co-coordinator Devendra Bisht, and other public representatives.
