CM Nayab Singh Saini to Launch ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana’ on September 25, Aims to Empower 22 Lakh Women in Haryana

Chandigarh, September 24 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced the rollout of the ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana’, a flagship scheme designed to strengthen women’s empowerment in the state. The scheme will be officially launched on September 25, 2025, marking the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the proponent of Integral Humanism.

Saini, who also holds the finance portfolio, had introduced the initiative in his first budget of ₹2,05,017 crore presented during the March session of the Haryana Assembly. The scheme carries an allocation of ₹5,000 crore and has been implemented within just 192 days, reflecting the government’s focus on policy, intent, and execution.

Under the scheme, approximately 22 lakh women between the ages of 23 and 60 from families with an annual income of up to ₹1 lakh will receive financial assistance of ₹2,100 each. Beneficiaries will have to register through a mobile app, which will be launched by the Chief Minister in Panchkula during the state-level function.

Simultaneous events will be held in all 22 districts, attended by cabinet ministers, MPs, MLAs, and senior administrative officials. Alongside the financial aid rollout, free health camps will be organized under the ‘Swasth Mahila – Sashakt Parivar’ campaign to prioritize women’s health.

The Chief Minister has further assured that the scheme’s scope will be expanded in future phases to include more beneficiaries. He described the program as a milestone in Haryana’s efforts toward women’s empowerment, transparency, and welfare governance.
