Gurugram, June 1, 2025: In a heartwarming display of humility and grassroots connection, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday paused his convoy during a visit to Gurugram to join a group of local youth playing cricket, offering a rare moment of direct public engagement and spontaneity.
The incident occurred while CM Saini was en route to the PWD Rest House after attending a program on the “One Nation, One Election” theme at Leisure Valley Parking. Upon seeing youngsters playing cricket at an open field near Rajiv Chowk, the Chief Minister showed interest and stopped his convoy.
Delighted by the gesture, the local youth invited him to join, to which CM Saini happily agreed. He picked up the bat and played for a short while. Cabinet Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Minister of State for Sports Gaurav Gautam, and BJP State President Mohan Lal Kaushik also participated in the impromptu game.
