Chandigarh, January 23 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Parakram Diwas paid heartfelt tribute to great freedom fighter and founder of the Indian National Army, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The Chief Minister offered floral tributes at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Park in Sector 3, Chandigarh, remembering his unparalleled contribution to India’s freedom struggle.
Paying homage, Nayab Singh Saini said that Netaji ignited the spirit of freedom among Indians through his valour, leadership and sacrifice. He stated that the freedom enjoyed by the nation today is the result of the immense struggles and supreme sacrifices made by revolutionaries like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The Chief Minister described Netaji’s courage, patriotism and dedication to the nation as unforgettable and eternally inspiring.
The Chief Minister said that by following the ideals of nation-building, self-reliance and unwavering determination shown by Netaji, a strong foundation of a developed India is being laid under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that the country is moving rapidly towards self-reliance, technological advancement and global leadership.
Calling upon the youth, Nayab Singh Saini urged them to draw inspiration from the ideals of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and actively participate in nation-building. He said that the younger generation must play a decisive role in realising the vision of making India a global leader.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also extended warm greetings to the people of Haryana on the auspicious festival of Basant Panchami. He said the festival symbolises knowledge, energy and renewed consciousness, and inspires everyone to work with dedication towards nation-building.
