Chandigarh — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday in a courtesy call that evolved into a comprehensive discussion on the state’s current development efforts, welfare schemes, and upcoming projects.
During the meeting, CM Saini briefed the Prime Minister on the pace of Haryana’s developmental journey, crediting the Centre’s policies and support for the state’s remarkable progress across multiple sectors. He emphasized that under PM Modi’s leadership and the “double engine” government model, Haryana is continuously moving forward, delivering benefits to citizens in fields such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, industry, and social welfare.
CM Saini also shared details of ongoing flagship schemes and programs in the state, outlining the government’s future priorities. He reiterated the commitment of the Haryana government to the core principles of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas,” aimed at ensuring inclusive growth for all sections of society.
The Chief Minister sought the Prime Minister’s guidance on several state-interest matters and expressed gratitude for the consistent support received from the Union government. He said the state government remains dedicated to public service and good governance in line with the Prime Minister’s vision.
Expressing confidence in the future, CM Saini said that under the leadership of PM Modi, Haryana is poised to advance rapidly toward becoming a developed state in a developed India.
He affirmed that with the spirit of “double engine governance,” the Haryana government remains fully committed to the state’s all-round development in collaboration with the Centre.
