CM Nayab Singh Saini Inaugurates New Building of Golden Jubilee Haryana Institute of Financial Management in Panchkula

Chandigarh, August 23 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Golden Jubilee Haryana Institute of Financial Management in Sector-3, Panchkula, on Saturday. The building has been developed at a cost of ₹50.12 crore.

Urban Local Bodies Minister Vipul Goel, Public Works Minister Ranbir Gangwa, and Health and Family Welfare Minister Arti Singh Rao were also present at the event.

Extending his congratulations, the Chief Minister said the institute will function as a high-quality think tank, offering the Haryana government advanced policy advice, data-driven insights, and innovative solutions. He added that it will serve as the backbone of financial decision-making. The institute’s vision, he said, aligns with the recommendations of the Seventh State Finance Commission and Haryana’s commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. This initiative, he noted, will give new direction and momentum to financial management in the state.

Saini emphasized that financial management is a critical subject and plays a vital role in accelerating development. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, he said Haryana will contribute significantly to this goal. He described the Golden Jubilee Haryana Institute of Financial Management as a premier institution of the state, dedicated to financial policy, research, and the implementation of sustainable development objectives.

On this occasion, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, State Finance Commission Chairman Sanjeev Kaushal, Institute Director General Dr. Anshaj Singh, Mayor Kulbhushan Goel, former Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta, Deputy Commissioner Monika Gupta, and other officials were also present.
