Gurugram/Chandigarh, July 16 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth more than ₹188 crore in Gurugram district, aiming to accelerate infrastructure, road connectivity, education, and water supply.
Road Projects in Pataudi Constituency Unveiled
Following a grievance redressal committee meeting, CM Saini reached the PWD rest house where he inaugurated two major road projects in the Pataudi constituency — the Pachgaon to Farrukhnagar via Jamalpur double-lane road built at a cost of ₹55.05 crore and the renovated Helimandi to Farrukhnagar via Mechana road, constructed at a cost of ₹13.18 crore.
New Infrastructure in Sohna Assembly Segment
In the Sohna constituency, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Ali Pur Haria Heda road from GA Road and the Mandir Road in Raisina village, built at a cost of ₹8.23 crore. He also opened the BPDS Road to Nunera (₹32.63 lakh) and Loh Singhani to Chamanpura Road (₹28.26 lakh). Further, foundation stones were laid for roads from GA Road to Dhoomaspur via Nayagaon (₹13.34 crore), and for the Sohna-Abhaypur-Lohatki-Khedla and Damdama to Rithoj roads (₹16.56 crore).
Boost to Gurugram’s Drinking Water Supply
In a significant development, CM Saini inaugurated a 100 MLD water treatment unit-4 at Chandu Budhera, built by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) at a cost of ₹63.18 crore. The plant will ensure clean water supply to more than 4.5 lakh families across sectors 81 to 115. Water will be treated and supplied daily at 100 liters per person to localities like Laxman Vihar, Tikona Park, Jyoti Park, Arjun Nagar, Sector 12A, and Dayanand Colony.
New School Buildings for Educational Upliftment
Under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, CM Saini also laid foundation stones for new school buildings:
Daulatabad village: ₹5.03 crore
Dhanwapur village: ₹2.39 crore
Sohna: ₹4.70 crore
Ghamroj village: ₹3.40 crore
Silani village: ₹3.12 crore

The event was attended by Haryana Forest, Environment, and Industry Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Pataudi MLA Bimla Chaudhary, Sohna MLA Tejpal Tanwar, Gurugram MLA Mukesh Sharma, Principal Urban Development Advisor D.S. Dhesi, GMDA CEO Shyamal Mishra, DC Ajay Kumar, and other senior officials.
