CM Nayab Singh Saini Conducts Surprise Inspection of Water Treatment Plant in Hisar

Chandigarh, April 5 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday made a surprise visit to the water treatment facility located on Camry Road in Hisar. During the inspection, he questioned officials about the water supply system and personally examined the cleanliness of the tank and the surrounding premises.

He directed officials to maintain high levels of hygiene in and around the treatment plant and stressed the importance of clean and safe drinking water for citizens. CM Saini also inspected the plant’s treatment unit and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring every household receives clean water.

Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa, who accompanied the Chief Minister, informed him that the old 9 MLD (Million Liters per Day) plant had been replaced with a modern 15 MLD facility. The new plant is currently in its trial phase. He added that nearly 20–25 percent of the city’s population depends on this water supply system.

After the inspection, CM Saini also visited Cabinet Minister Ranbir Singh Gangwa’s residence, where he was warmly welcomed by party workers. The Chief Minister interacted with them and held discussions on various local issues.
