CM Nayab Singh Saini Attends State-Level BJP Workshop at Samalkha’s Seva Sadhna Kendra

Chandigarh, April 2 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday attended the state-level BJP workshop at Seva Sadhna Kendra in Samalkha. Speaking to journalists, he announced that on April 14, on the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present two major gifts to Haryana—the inauguration of Hisar Airport and the foundation stone laying for an 800 MW power unit in Yamunanagar.

The Chief Minister stated that the people of Haryana will wholeheartedly welcome the Prime Minister. He praised PM Modi for strengthening India’s global identity and leading the mission toward a developed India. He emphasized that the “triple-engine government” is accelerating Haryana’s development at three times the speed.

Elaborate arrangements are being made for the Prime Minister’s visit. On April 5, a meeting will be held in Rohtak with state ministers, MLAs, and district presidents to assign responsibilities. CM Saini also mentioned that the central government is set to introduce a Waqf Bill, which will resolve any disputes related to Waqf Board properties.

Regarding the procurement of crops in mandis, the Chief Minister assured that the state government stands with farmers. All necessary arrangements have been made in the mandis to ensure smooth crop arrivals. Officials have been directed to ensure that crops are lifted within 48 hours and that payments reach farmers’ bank accounts within the stipulated time. Basic amenities for farmers in the mandis must also be ensured.

CM Saini extended warm wishes to the people on Navratri and wished them good health. The event was attended by Development and Panchayat Minister Krishna Lal Panwar, Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana, Empowerment Minister Krishna Kumar Bedi, and other dignitaries.
