CM Mann Congratulates Punjab’s UPSC Achievers, Urges Them to Uphold State’s Legacy

Chandigarh, June 5, 2025: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Thursday met with 26 successful UPSC candidates from the state and called upon them to serve the nation with integrity while becoming cultural ambassadors of Punjab wherever they are posted.

Congratulating the achievers at his official residence, CM Mann attributed their success to dedication, perseverance, and hard work. He encouraged them to carry the essence of Punjab—its values, culture, and resilience—into every corner of the country through their service.

“Wherever you go, let your work reflect the fragrance of Punjab,” said Mann, adding that Punjabis are widely known for their hard work, innovation, and commitment. He urged the young officers to serve with honesty and professionalism, ensuring their administrative contributions reflect the true spirit of their heritage.

The Chief Minister emphasized that their inclusion in the civil services would bring fresh energy to the country’s administration and support national development. “You are the fresh blood of a new India. Let your actions uplift not only the state but the whole nation,” he stated.

CM Mann also underlined the scale of their achievement, noting that out of more than 5 lakh aspirants, only 1009 candidates were selected this year, including 26 from Punjab. He highlighted the UPSC’s completely transparent selection process, calling their merit-based selection a matter of great pride for the state.

He assured the newly appointed officers of the government’s full support and encouraged them to implement policies with enthusiasm and commitment. “You are the bridge between the government and the people. Use this opportunity to make real change,” he added.

Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Ravi Bhagat and Special Principal Secretary Kumar Amit were also present during the interaction.
