Dehradun, November 7, 2025: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday visited the Forest Research Institute (FRI) to review the preparations for Uttarakhand’s Statehood Day Silver Jubilee celebrations. He instructed officials to complete all arrangements on time and ensure the event reflects the state’s achievements over the past 25 years.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said it was a moment of pride for every resident that Uttarakhand was entering its 25th year of formation. “Our state was created by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji has been nurturing and strengthening it. It is our privilege that the Prime Minister will be part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations,” he said.
Dhami added that Uttarakhand has made significant progress in various sectors over the past 25 years and is now ready to play a leading role in building a developed India by 2047. He described the Silver Jubilee not merely as a celebration but as a symbol of the state’s growth, determination, and vision for the future.
The Chief Minister directed the Dehradun district administration, Municipal Corporation, Public Works Department, and other concerned authorities to ensure that all preparations are completed promptly.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, MLAs Munna Singh Chauhan, Khajan Das, Sahdev Pundir, and senior officials from various departments were present during the review.
