Dehradun, September 29, 2025 – Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday assured protesting youth that his government would recommend a CBI inquiry into the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) examination case.
In a surprise move, the Chief Minister reached the Parade Ground, where students and job aspirants had been staging protests over alleged irregularities in the recently held examination. Listening to their grievances, Dhami expressed concern over their struggle, saying he felt deeply troubled seeing young people demonstrating in the scorching heat during the festive season.
Dhami reiterated that the government has always stood by the principle of ensuring complete transparency in recruitment exams. He emphasized that this has been the state’s commitment over the past four years and will remain central to every future selection process.
The Chief Minister’s assurance has brought a sense of relief among protestors, though they continue to demand strict accountability for those responsible.
