CM Bhagwant Mann to Attend Sarabha Memorial Event Today; Tight Security in Ludhiana Village

National Times Bureau :- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is scheduled to visit Sarabha village in Ludhiana today to attend the state-level ceremony commemorating the martyrdom day of revolutionary Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha. The Chief Minister will pay floral tributes at the memorial statue in the martyr’s ancestral village.

Ahead of his visit, the district administration has strengthened security arrangements across the area. Sarabha village has effectively been turned into a security zone, with a heavy deployment of police personnel to manage the gathering and ensure smooth conduct of the event.

Senior officials, including Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain, along with SDMs and police officers, conducted an on-ground inspection late Saturday evening to review the preparations. The Deputy Commissioner took feedback from field officials and directed them to tighten security further. Special instructions were issued to regulate parking areas and crowd movement efficiently.

Authorities have stated that all arrangements are in place for the Chief Minister’s visit, and teams have been stationed to respond swiftly to any situation.
