Cheteshwar Pujara Retires from All Forms of Cricket

National Times Bureau :- Cheteshwar Pujara, one of India’s most dependable Test batsmen, has retired from all formats of cricket. The 37-year-old announced his decision on Sunday through a social media post, thanking fans, teammates, and the cricket board for their support.

Pujara played 103 Test matches for India, scoring 7,195 runs with 19 centuries and 35 half-centuries. His last appearance came in the 2023 World Test Championship Final against Australia. He also represented India in five One-Day Internationals, making 51 runs.

In his message, Pujara said wearing the Indian jersey was a great honor and thanked his family for their sacrifices. He now plans to spend more time with them as he begins a new chapter in life.
