National Times Bureau :- In a significant announcement, the Chandigarh Administration has declared November 25 as a public holiday to commemorate the 350th Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
According to the official notification issued by Home Secretary Mandeep Singh Brar, all government offices, boards, corporations, institutions, and industrial establishments operating under the Chandigarh Administration will remain closed on this day.
The administration has emphasized that all departments and allied institutions must strictly adhere to the orders. The decision has been taken to honor the unparalleled sacrifice of the ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, whose martyrdom holds immense historical and spiritual significance.
The holiday will be observed across the Union Territory to allow citizens to participate in related religious and commemorative events.
