National Times Bureau :- Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje has emphasized that it is the central government’s responsibility to ensure the maintenance and repair of the Kartarpur Corridor. Speaking on the matter, she stated that timely intervention and restoration work are essential to preserve the facility and ensure smooth access for pilgrims.
The minister highlighted that the corridor plays a crucial role in religious tourism and cross-border connectivity, and the government remains committed to addressing the ongoing maintenance issues promptly.
