New Delhi, October 17, 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official schedule for practical examinations for Classes 10 and 12 for the 2025–26 academic session, along with tentative dates for theory exams. Students can access the complete timetable on CBSE’s official portal, cbse.gov.in.
For winter-bound schools, practical exams, project work, and internal assessments will be conducted from November 6 to December 6, 2025. Schools in other regions will begin practical exams from January 1, 2026. The board stressed that these timelines are final, and all practicals and internal assessments must be completed within the stipulated period.
The theory exams for both classes are scheduled to commence on February 17, 2026. Class 10 examinations will conclude on March 9, while Class 12 exams are scheduled until April 9, 2026, with exam timings from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. CBSE will release the detailed subject-wise date sheet shortly.
For Class 12, practicals will be conducted under the supervision of external examiners appointed by CBSE. Schools are required to upload marks for practicals and internal assessments carefully, as changes will not be permitted once submitted. Additionally, schools must prepare the List of Candidates (LOC) online to ensure smooth coordination.
