Gurpreet Singh :- The Punjab and Haryana High Court has put a stay on the proposed flyover project from Tribune Chowk to the Zirakpur border, dealing a setback to Chandigarh Administration's plans to ease traffic congestion on one of the city's busiest corridors. A Division Bench headed by Chief Justice Sheel Nagu passed the order on Friday, observing that the proposed flyover on Dakshin Marg was not in conformity with the Chandigarh Master Plan-2031 and, therefore, could not be permitted in its present form.
