Gurpreet Singh :- A soldier from Punjab's Sangrur district was martyred in action during encounter with militants in hostile state Manipur. Gurdeep Singh, who had been serving in the Army for 21 years was shot during the operation. He was a resident of Mahalna Chowk village in Sunam tehsil of Sangrur.
