Calgary ( Rajeev Sharma): CPS (Calgary police) are investigating a shooting incident that occurred early Tuesday morning in the northeast community of Redstone.
At approximately 3:55 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to reports of gunfire at an establishment located on Red Embers Way N.E., at the Sanjha Punjab grocery store. Upon arrival, police discovered that several shots had been fired into the closed business. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and there is no indication of any current threat to the public.
Investigators are actively collecting evidence and reviewing surveillance footage from the area. They are also canvassing the neighborhood for potential witnesses who may have information related to the incident. The Calgary Police Service is urging anyone with information to come forward.
